The Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace (CSJP) is an international community of brave, noble, large-minded, and courageous vowed women religious and women and men associates. We are a culturally diverse community with a wide range of ages serving in the Eastern and Western United States and the United Kingdom.
As Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace:
Our charism of peace challenges us to prophetic risk so that God’s reign might be more fully realized.
Community life sustains us in ministry. Likewise, ministry enlivens and enriches our life in community.
Recognizing gospel peace as both gift and task, we believe that prayer is fundamental to our life. We rely on the love and fidelity of God to lead us into the way of peace.
Our ministries are many and varied and include healthcare, education, spirituality, and justice advocacy, especially for the poor and women and children.
