Jubilees in the Eastern Region

The 2016 jubilarians from the eastern region chose Spring, birds and butterflies as the theme for their day of celebration with family and friends in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The weather forecast for that day was anything but a reflection of their theme - grey, damp, windy, slushy snow on and off all day! Multum in Parvo - A Reflection on our tradition of remembrance

Lest We ForgetSister Ann Taylor, our Congregation Archivist, offers a reflection on Lest We Forget, our tradition of remembering the deceased members of our community. This is a long standing tradition which dates back to the 4th General Chapter in 1909 and the work of Mother Teresa Moran, our third Major Superior. The first collection of obituaries of deceased sisters was published in 1945, and for the past 70 years the regional archivists and scribes have maintained this tradition.
