Spring Assemblies - Revisioning Religious Life for the 21st Century

Sisters and associates in all three regions are gathering this spring to explore the theme "Revisioning Religious Life for the 21st Century." The UK Assembly was on March 25 in Nottingham.  The East gathered in Englewood Cliffs, NJ on April 15. The Western region gathered in Bellevue, WA on May 20.

The Assembly program features a video panel of young adults in various stages of their journey as vowed members or lay associates. These young adults from other Congregations reflect on their call, hopes and dreams, and speak about the type of engagement and support they need from their Congregations.

Sister Michelle Lesher, SSJ, Novice Director for the Federation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, is featured in another video where she presents her research and reflections on the non-negotiables of religious life and the call of this time to revision religious life.

CSJP Congregation Initial Formation Director Sheila Lemieux, CSJP will be present at all three assemblies to help sisters and associates to break open both presentations and begin to discern what is ours to do.

It is always a joy to be together, a story the pictures tell so well!
