Living Peace - Radical Hospitality

We are delighted to share with you the latest issue of Living Peace, a free publication of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. The theme of the Summer 2017 issue is Radical Hospitality. In this issue, sisters, associates, and friends of the Congregation share their insights and experiences of responding to the call of our 2014 Chapter to recommit ourselves to Jesus' way of radical hospitality.

Sister Sheena George and Associate Frank McCann reflect on their experience with refugees in the refugee camp known as the "Jungle" in Calais, France.  Associate Terrence Moran writes about the hospitality we receive from Earth.  Sister Ann Crawley reminds us that Haiti remains a land of people always in crisis.  Cristina Turino shares the story of one of the sisters' first ministries still serving women in Jersey City today. We are also pleased to share an article by John Kingham who is a subscriber to Living Peace. He started a Zen practice in prison, “one of the most inhospitable places on earth.”

Starting with this issue, in addition to providing an electronic copy of Living Peace, we have also published online versions of featured articles which you may share with your friends and social networks more easily.

You can also become a subscriber for this free print publication via our online form.

Living Peace - Radical Hospitality

"If our role as messengers of God’s good news means anything to us, the chorus of people begging for peace will touch a special place in our hearts. "
