Celebrating our Jubilarians

Our Jubilarians are always treated to a special celebration at Spring Assembly, with a dinner in their honor, toasts and corsages. This is our "in-house" celebration - the big public Mass and reception is scheduled for June 9th.

This year, three of our Jubilarians are celebrating 70 years in religious life - that's 210 years of dedicated service to the People of God! As you can see from the photograph above, they are amazing women, still involved in ministry - from left, Sister Margaret O'Neill, Sister Rose Donohoe, and Sister Sioban O'Donoghue.

Sister Barb Kearney-Schupp, left, is celebrating 25 years in religious life; she is currently teaching at St. Therese School, but plans to take the next year as a sabbatical.

We missed Sister Liz Sheehy, below, celebrating 60 years, because she was undergoing medical tests and couldn't travel. We look forward to seeing her here in June.
