Our Policies

The Policies of the Peace and Spirituality Center

  • Welcomes individuals, faith communities and non-profit groups whose mission is in keeping with the values and purpose of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace
  • Welcomes exclusively adults for prayer, reflection, retreats and renewal
  • Is not available to youth or children (individuals or groups) regardless of supervision
  • Is unable to accommodate weddings, funerals, parties, or other such events
  • Accepts reservations a year in advance for weekend events
  • Accepts reservations six months in advance for weekday events. Reservations made earlier than six months in advance are tentative
  • Confirms reservation upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit
  • Does not allow pets except for service animals
  • May be reserved between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Reserves the right to refuse service/availability based on our mission and religious beliefs to those whose philosophies or actions are not in keeping with our mission
  • Is a smoke free facility, located on the smoke free campus of St. Mary-on-the-Lake
  • Is not responsible for the safety of either the participants or their property
  • May require a disclaimer (for hosted groups) on literature sent to promote or announce programs held at the Peace and Spirituality Center
  • A group's use of the Peace and Spirituality Center does not imply sponsorship by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace.
